Data Team lead

We’re looking for an exceptional Data Team Lead to lead our data analytics and engineering team and transform the Data industry.

As a key figure in the company, you will lead the data team and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and deliver impactful insights.

Nimble is building a world where businesses can easily create AI & BI applications using real-time public web data to make better decisions, solve problems, and enhance their operations.

Responsibilities

• rovide strong leadership and mentorship to a team of data engineer and data analyst, setting clear goals, offering regular feedback, and supporting their professional growth.
• Collaborate closely with teams across Product, Engineering, Sales, CS and Business to drive research, analysis, and the development of new features for one of our flagship products.
• Take ownership of the company's internal data, ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and accessibility for all stakeholders.
• Lead the analysis of complex datasets to uncover valuable insights, trends, patterns, and anomalies that guide strategic decision-making.
• Present findings and actionable insights to senior management and cross-functional teams.
• Lead the development and continuous improvement of the data infrastructure to guarantee optimal performance, scalability, and preparedness for future growth.
  
  

• 5+ years of experience in data roles (preferably in both engineering and analytics), with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial position.
• Strong SQL skills and solid knowledge of data architecture, including designing scalable and reliable data systems.
• Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines and workflows.
• Experience working with DBT and BI tools such as Tableau, Sigma, Power BI, etc., to create dashboards and deliver actionable insights.
• Demonstrated success in managing and leading data teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, combined with excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Enthusiastic about taking ownership of the company's data and driving data excellence.
