Cloud Architect

KPMG is currently seeking a skilled, motivated, and experienced Cloud Architect to empower KPMG’s capabilities and solutions in the cloud area.

Responsibilities:

• Working with KPMG’s top enterprise, corporate and startups clients
• Leading technical selling of the services and solutions, clearly articulating the problem statement, our approach, the service itself, and value to client
• Adding new services, capabilities, and solutions in the cloud field
• Working within the Sales team to drive new and existing business.
• Assisting clients in driving innovation within the organization using cloud
• Responsible for Digital transformation process including Landing Zone concepts, architecture, design and implementation of scalable and efficient cloud solutions
• Characterization of requirements, assistance in the tender process and in the selection of suppliers and tools
• Lead Clients from concept to understanding how to execute including execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional customer’s teams to identify data requirements and design solutions that meet the needs
• Design and implement IAC (infra as code) and PAC (policy as code) platforms
• Design and implement modern cloud-based applications and workloads
• Educate and collaborate with client’s technical and management teams (CIOs, CTOs, Architects, DevOps, Security team, etc.)
  
  

• 2 years' experience as a cloud architect
• In depth knowledge in at least one leading public cloud: Azure, AWS or GCP
• Experience in working with large organizations
• Understanding technology well in business context
• Significant professional technical knowledge in the establishment, operation and maintenance of cloud environments
• Significant technical knowledge and experience in architecture, management, consultancy, implementation and guidance on cloud environments
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS and modern application development frameworks and platforms
• Familiar with, understands, and maintains knowledge with cloud transformation methodologies, cloud optimization and operations frameworks and tools and cloud platforms capabilities
• Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot cloud services, including hybrid models, VMs, storage, and networking and security
• AWS / Azure / GCP Cloud certifications- an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in development processes, testing, CI\CD - an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in programming languages - an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Client facing, manages client interactions, expectations, deliverables
