FinOps Engineer

Pixellot's automated sports production solutions revolutionize traditional video capture, production and distribution processes, enabling professional and amateur sports organizations to affordably cover and monetize their events.

We are looking for an experienced FinOps Engineer to join our DevOps group.

The ideal candidate will be driven to optimize cloud cost, increase productivity and bridge the gap between our R&D, DevOps and financial teams.

As a FinOps you will:

• Analyze, optimize and implement cost optimization actions over different cloud services. 
• Work with R&D teams to design and implement new services in the most cost-efficient way. 
• Partner with the development and finance teams in order to optimize our cloud cost. 
• Implement and manage automated tools in order to identify and optimize cost trends. 
• Create metrics, reports, and recommended remediation plans for financial excellence in the cloud. 
• Crafting detailed product level visibility that will help drive better business decisions and cost accountability. 
• Support the cloud teams in understanding their AWS bills and forecasts based on their business goals. 

You should bring with you:

• +2 year's experience as a FinOps, Business/Financial Analyst, or equivalent. 
• +2 year's experience with cloud cost analysis tools such as CloudHealth. 
• Proven analytical skills and experience with cost optimization in Cloud. 
• Understanding of Cloud architecture and its various components. 
• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels. 
• Detailed oriented, self-driven, well organised. 
• DevOps experience and scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash) - advantage 
• Experience with Kubernetes and microservices world - advantage
