Gordon Gallery, established in 1966, stands as one of Israel's most prestigious contemporary art spaces. It is renowned for its collection of fine Israeli art, one of the largest of its kind, and for representing today's leading Israeli artists and several important estates.

Role Description

We're seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Gallery Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of art, sales, and client relations, helping to maintain our gallery's reputation for excellence.

This is a full-time on-site role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and engage with gallery visitors, providing informed guidance about current exhibitions and represented artists.
• Support the coordination and execution of exhibition installations, openings, and special events.
• Maintain the gallery database and archive of artworks, artists, and client information.
• Assist with sales processes, including preparing invoices and coordinating artwork shipments.
• Handle administrative tasks, including keeping our website and social media up-to-date.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Art History, Fine Arts, or related field
• Fluent in Hebrew and English, both written and spoken
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Strong understanding of contemporary art

Preferred Qualifications:

• Photography skills
• Background in sales or client relations
• Knowledge of additional languages
• Familiarity with the Israeli contemporary art scene
• Familiarity with art database management systems
