Head of Grants and Donor Relations – Madatech, The Israel National Museum of Science, Technology, and Space (Haifa)

Madatech, a leading institution in science education in Israel, is looking for a Head of Grants and Donor Relations to play a key role in advancing the museum’s mission.

Reporting to: CEO of Madatech

Position scope: 80% part-time, immediate start

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a comprehensive strategy for fundraising from philanthropic organizations and grant-making bodies.
• Conduct research to identify potential donors and funding opportunities.
• Write and submit funding proposals in coordination with relevant departments at the museum.
• Organize and host donor and foundation representative visits to the museum.
• Track and manage submitted proposals, ensuring follow-up and progress monitoring.
• Prepare detailed performance and financial reports for donors and foundations, including collaboration with the museum's accountant.
• Work closely with museum management to align resource development efforts with institutional needs.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of proven experience in resource development from grants and philanthropic donors.
• Advantage: experience working with non-profits, particularly cultural institutions.
• Bachelor’s degree – required.
• Native-level proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Additional languages – an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Marketing-oriented mindset.
• High digital literacy – required.
• Passion for promoting science, education, and innovation.
