The Software Engineer - Test role

As a Test Developer for Qlik Cloud Data Integration, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of cutting-edge microservices and micro-frontend solutions.

Here’s How You’ll Be Making An Impact

• Deliver Quality at Scale: Investigate how new requirements and features fit into our test suites, ensuring they align with our high standards.
• Enhance Testing Processes: Develop and implement test cases at both integration and component levels, enhancing the robustness of our solutions.
• Optimize Performance: Monitor test environments, analyze failures, and address performance degradations to keep our systems running smoothly.
• Drive Strategic Improvements: Collaborate on test strategies and contribute ideas that shape the future of quality in both the team and the broader Qlik community.
• Foster Team Success: Work closely with developers, test engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless feature deliveries.
  
  

We’re looking for a teammate with the following experience:

• 5+ years of experience from working with software testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent system analysis skills.
• Strong technology background and understanding of different architectures.
• Proven ability to work well with others in a fast paced, iterative product definition and development environment.
• Fast learner with an ability to pick up new ideas and approaches.
• Ability to communicate and express thoughts and ideas in a group.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to react quickly to changing requirements due to product limitations or enterprise needs.
• SQL language, database systems.
• Experience in Test automation, API testing, performance testing.
• Windows/Linux knowledge.
• Fluency in English.
