The Tactical Intelligence Presales Engineer plays a critical role in the sales process, creating a strong first impression of the company’s value proposition, capabilities, and professionalism. This role involves preparing and maintaining high-quality proposals, marketing materials, and conducting live demonstrations of cutting-edge tactical intelligence systems to clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Demonstration and Client Engagement
- Conduct live demonstrations of tactical and intelligence systems to customers and partners globally in fluent English.
- Manage end-to-end demo processes, including customer coordination, logistics, transportation, system testing, and equipment preparation.
- Leverage homeland security experience to address specific operational needs and challenges during presentations.
Proposal and Material Development
- Create and update presales materials, such as brochures, presentations, and product description (PD) documents.
- Deliver clear, concise, and professional proposals tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for content accuracy and relevancy.
Client Needs Analysis and Solutions Positioning
- Understand client objectives and requirements to effectively position tactical and intelligence solutions that meet their goals.
- Utilize knowledge of homeland security protocols to design solutions that address security-specific use cases.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Engage with internal teams, including Finance, Legal, Product, and Security, to gather and provide necessary information for client requests.
- Conduct market research and assist in budget estimations to support the business development team.
Content Review and Refresh Cycles
- Perform regular reviews of presales materials to ensure they reflect the latest technological advancements and align with client needs.
Key Competencies and Qualifications:
Mandatory Experience:
- Proven experience with tactical intelligence systems, including IMSI Catchers, passive systems, DF systems, and intelligence platforms like Webint and geolocation.
- Experience in homeland security, law enforcement, or a similar operational security role.
- Previous presales experience involving live system demonstrations and proposal creation.
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong presentation and crowd-facing abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, tight deadlines, and high-pressure environments.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to dynamic environments.
- Availability for frequent international travel on short notice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in intelligence, homeland security, or cybersecurity-related fields.
- Familiarity with fusion intelligence systems and advanced data analysis tools.
