Responsible for all engineering and maintenance activities in the plant, ensuring a proper and safe working environment in collaboration with the safety officer.
Management and responsibility for the Maintenance Department and its managers in the fields of mechanics, electricity, infrastructure, and various systems.
Responsible for operating external contractors in all service areas and overseeing technical procurement for the plant.
Building annual investment and maintenance expense budgets and tracking their implementation according to the schedule, budget, and scope.
Manage, supervise, and control the execution of the annual maintenance plan (preventive), troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to the budget.
Initiating, managing, monitoring the execution, and overseeing engineering projects for new equipment and systems.
Professional responsibility for properly functioning production lines, electrical systems, associated equipment, support systems, and troubleshooting.
Professional authority for the operation and maintenance of all systems in the plant, including infrastructure and machinery, with coordination with machine manufacturers as needed.
Defining and preparing operational and maintenance procedures for operators and maintenance personnel, and supervising their implementation and documentation.

Requirements:

BSc MSc in Mechanical Engineer – required.
Proven experience in maintenance and engineering fields in industry – 5 years of experience as a senior engineer in a manufacturing plant or as a technical manager.
Good knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, control systems, and process systems.
Good command of professional and technical English, including reading, writing, and the ability to manage conversations.
Ability to motivate people and drive interfaces.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple tasks.
Familiarity with the quality requirements in a food plant, supervised by the Ministry of Health – an advantage.
