Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Network Supervisor to oversee our network engineering team. The ideal candidate will hold a Cisco CCNA or higher certification, possess extensive knowledge of network systems, and have proven leadership and supervisory skills. The Network Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring network operations run smoothly, managing team performance, and coordinating technical projects, including travel outside the city as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Supervision:
• Manage and mentor the network engineering team to ensure high performance.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance on troubleshooting and technical challenges.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and recommend professional development opportunities.
• Network Operations Management:
• Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of network systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Review and approve network installations, configurations, and upgrades.
• Implement best practices for network security, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Technical Project Coordination:
• Plan and oversee network-related projects, including system installations and upgrades.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensure team members are adequately prepared and equipped for assignments, including travel outside the city.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Review and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and changes.
• Ensure accurate logs and reports are prepared and submitted by the team.
• Provide detailed reports on network performance and team activities to senior management.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the network engineering team and other departments.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and management regarding network-related matters.
• Promote teamwork and a positive work environment within the department.
  

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Cisco CCNA certification or higher (e.g., CCNP) is required.
• Extensive experience in network maintenance, troubleshooting, and system installation.
• Proven 3 years supervisory or managerial experience in a technical field.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel outside the city for network-related assignments and support.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing logs, reports, and technical documentation.
