Materials Researcher

Landa Digital Printing is seeking an innovative and driven Materials Researcher to join our team and lead the development of cutting-edge formulations for printing blankets.

This role involves researching and formulating advanced silicone release materials and contributing creative solutions to enhance product performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science and a passion for pushing the boundaries of innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Design formulations to meet specific performance criteria.
• Conduct detailed lab testing of developed materials, including physical, chemical, and mechanical property evaluations.
• Research emerging trends, technologies, and new materials.
• Propose and implement novel ideas to improve product performance.
• Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations through reports and presentations.
  
  

• M.Sc., M.Eng. or Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, material engineering, or extensive professional experience in the field of polymers/coatings/composites
• At least 2 years of experience working with polymers/coatings/composites
• Experience using literature/IP surveys
• Hands-on experience with material testing and analysis methods
• Strong knowledge of polymer science and release coating technologies
• Familiarity with analytical techniques such as FTIR, TGA, DSC, and rheology
• Background in printing technologies or related industries. – Advantage
