Responsibilities And Duties

• Fulfill prescription orders with precision and attention to detail, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized compounding area.
• Work closely with the fulfillment team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of compounded medications to patients.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of compounding materials and supplies.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements, standards, state regulations, and pharmacy policies.
• Embrace a culture of continuous improvement by participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• No Experience Necessary
• Current Technician Registration in Good Standing with applicable Board of Pharmacy
• Active State Pharmacy Technician License or certification as required in the state.
• Ability to operate computer and laboratory equipment

• Will log 500-1200 hours of experiential training in the pharmacy as per exam requirements.

• Pharmacy Technician Licensure
• Required Equivalent Experience - New hires must apply for a temporary technician license through the State of Illinois or show proof that they have applied within 3 months.
• Must sign up for and begin preparation for the Certification Exam by 6mos anniversary date in this position.

• Ability to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to repetitively use hands, wrists, and arms to perform job duties.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force in order to lift, carry, pull, and/or move objects as required.
