What is the role?

Zencity is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the company’s financial operations, assist with financial reporting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with the entire finance team to optimize financial processes, improve reporting accuracy, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

You Will:

• Participate in month-end closing procedures and ensure the timely and accurate reporting of financial results
• Analyze budget variances by comparing actual vs. budgeted figures, identifying key drivers, and providing insights for decision-making
• Prepare consolidated periodical reporting packages.
• Responsible for maintaining monthly deferred revenues and deferred commission w/p, monthly commission payout.
• Preparation of annual tax reports and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Participate in the monthly payroll process across the company's various entities
• Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
• Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting software and financial tools.
  
  

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, preferably in a SaaS company
• Working experience in global company – Advantage
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar)
• A hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize workload
• Proficiency in Excel
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
