Assistant Controller

What are we looking for?

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end consolidated closings, including account reconciliations, accrual schedules, and general journal entries.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliations, and perform completeness checks on financial data on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Manage monthly payroll process with Hilan (outsource payroll services provider), including attendance information, reimbursements, etc.
• Manage the collection process and contribute to budget vs. actual analysis.
• Oversee accounting operations, including AR, Revenue Recognition, monthly tax reporting, etc.
• Conduct regular data control to ensure accurate financial postings.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth and compliant audits.
• Provide support for day-to-day finance operations, special projects, and ad-hoc requests as needed.
• Assist in implementing new work procedures to enhance accounting processes.
  
  

• CPA with an Internship in one of the Big 4;
• Experience in preparing financial statements and consolidated reports according to US GAAP.
• Multi-tasking, working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and striving well in a dynamic work environment.
• Accurate and detail-oriented with a high level of analytical and professional skills.
• Ability to drive results-driven processes and be willing to make an impact.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• A highly committed team player with the ability to work independently
• Passion for innovative solutions and process improvement.
• English - High level (written and spoken).
