About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Lead to build, guide and lead a team of up to 5 Full Stack Developers, specializing in AI-powered technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, integration, and deployment of our AI insurance product, which leverages the newest LLMs technologies and automation. You will play a critical role in shaping our technical direction, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, and ensuring the successful delivery of products that will transform the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Build a new team in our R&D department.
• Lead a team of software engineers who develop our AI product.
• Developing and mentoring direct staff and foster open collaborative culture
• Be part of the decisions and the design, and be opinionated on the product features.
• Set clear goals, expectations, and track the team’s performance.
• Review and improve team processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and the timely delivery of high-impact features.
• Act as a liaison between the development team and other departments (Product, Professional Services, Customer Success and Product Support).
  
  

• At least 2 years of experience in team lead position.
• At least 5 years of experience in Backend and/or Full-Stack development.
• Deep knowledge in SaaS software architecture design.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of product building end to end.
• Experience with building Cloud architecture (Familiarity with GCP cloud platform is a plus)
• Deep knowledge in AI product architecture and development is a plus.
• Insurance or financial industry familiarity is a plus
• Being able to see the big picture, zoom out, prioritize, estimate well, mitigate risks and have a sharp eye for details.
• Understanding of real-life developer experience aspects.
• Demonstrated success in building a strong and open culture.
• Passionate about constantly balancing between code quality, fast delivery and business value.
