Reeflect is an all-in-one platform that combines adventure, community, and discovery for watersports enthusiasts. Based in Tel Aviv District, Israel, Reeflect offers a unique experience for watersports lovers, providing opportunities for thrilling adventures and connecting with fellow enthusiasts.

Our goal is to provide a comprehensive solution for the world of water sports, where there is currently a lack of a centralized platform for attractions, activities, and relevant information in one place. We aim to connect water sports communities, regardless of skill level, both locally and globally. Additionally, we strive to make this experience personal and precise, tailored to each user, anytime and anywhere.

Reeflect is a platform that offers:

• Information on activities such as courses, lessons, trips, rentals, and more, as well as events and real-time personalized sea forecasts powered by machine learning.
• A connection between users with shared interests through dedicated profiles.
• Promotion tools for business owners to easily manage and showcase their services.

The pilot will initially launch in Israel, focusing on surfing, diving, and sailing.

Reeflect is designed to redefine how water sports enthusiasts connect and enjoy this world.

Role Description

We are looking for a Co-Founder & CTO to join our mission of bringing Reeflect to life. This is an equity-based role with no salary initially. Compensation will be provided in the form of equity, with the potential for a salary after securing a government grant (e.g., from the Innovation Authority).

As CTO, you will lead the technological development of Reeflect, including building the MVP, managing software development, and shaping the platform's long-term IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and launch of Reeflect's MVP.
• Oversee technical aspects such as project management, IT strategy, and architecture.
• Build scalable infrastructure for location-based functionality and user database operations.
• Work with foreign software houses and manage collaboration.
• Explore opportunities for government grants and funding.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mobile app development.
• Strong backend and frontend development expertise.
• Familiarity with infrastructure, cloud services, credit clearing, and payment processing.
• Experience in scaling server-side and database operations for large user bases.
• Knowledge of location-based functionality.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and production database migrations.
• Experience in product development and agile methodologies.
• Bonus: Experience with government grants or in the watersports industry.
