Software Architect- part time

We are looking for a Cloud Software Architect to lead the design and implementation of a scalable, secure, and high-performance SaaS cybersecurity product. In this role, you will work closely with R&D and security teams to define the cloud architecture, ensure resilience, and drive innovation in our cutting-edge cybersecurity platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a cloud-native architecture for a SaaS cybersecurity platform, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Define and implement best practices for multi-tenant, microservices-based architectures in cloud environments.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency, performance, and disaster recovery.
• Lead the adoption of serverless, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Define CI/CD strategies to ensure seamless deployment and updates of the SaaS platform.
• Conduct architecture reviews, threat modeling, and performance testing to enhance product reliability.
• Stay up to date with cybersecurity trends, cloud advancements, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Software Architect, ideally in a SaaS and/or cybersecurity domain.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures, microservices, and API security.
• Deep understanding of cloud security frameworks, IAM, encryption, and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java for cloud-based applications.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and secure software development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, security-driven environment.
