DevOps Engineer

A leading high-tech company in Tel Aviv is hiring a DevOps Engineer! 🚀

What’s the job?

• Build and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant, scalable ALM systems, covering everything from Version Control, Builds, and Deployments to Monitoring and Configuration Management.
• Deliver first-class work on tight schedules.
• Maintain the application layer of a multi-DC environment.
• Develop and integrate infrastructure tools in support of our production system.
• Automate the provisioning and configuration of Windows/Linux environments.
• Work closely with Product, QA, Developers, and IT/Operations teams to streamline their working methods.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and high-quality deployments.
• Monitor and optimize service performance, ensuring reliability and availability.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline code deployment and infrastructure management.
• Automate manual tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Implement best practices for infrastructure as code and configuration management.
• Perform regular security audits and implement best practices for infrastructure security.
• Continuously evaluate and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement in service delivery and quality.

Have you done this kind of stuff?

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer/SRE Engineer/Platform Engineer.
• A minimum of 3 years of exposure running production workloads (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and source control management tools (e.g., Git & TFVC, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Artifactory, Proget, etc.).
• Experience with GitOps (e.g., ArgoCD or Flux).
• Experience with Configuration Management tools like Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Proven scripting capabilities: PowerShell/Bash/Python.
• High-level Linux / Windows OS expertise.
• Programming experience skills (C#, NodeJS - advantage).
• Microservices architecture & container orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Experience managing application servers and web servers (F5, Nginx, IIS).
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in high-volume or critical production service environments.
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Proactive by nature; internal drive for excellence and improvement.

Preferred:

• Experience in maintaining high-availability systems in production.
• Experience with microservices architectures and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous improvement processes.
