Maintenance and Machinery engineer

A global leader in the development, production, and marketing in the energy sector is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Machinery manager to oversee the maintenance of production lines and machinery at its manufacturing facility.

Job Description:

The position involves comprehensive responsibility for maintaining production lines, managing a machining department, and leading a team of maintenance mechanics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and execute preventive maintenance.
2. Oversee scheduled maintenance and efficient breakdown maintenance.
3. Prioritize and assign tasks to team members based on professional expertise.
4. Manage the maintenance mechanics team and machining department.
5. Design and build new machinery locally.
6. Define specifications for new machinery and oversee production integration.
7. Refurbish existing machinery.
8. Implement improvements and upgrades to enhance efficiency and production capabilities.
9. Lead TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) teams and manage task execution.
10. Create spare part codes (BOMs) in SAP for production lines.
11. Determine spare part inventory levels based on supply availability and allowable downtime.
12. Provide technical consultation to process engineering teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Proven expertise in machining, machine parts, pneumatics, hydraulics, industrial automation, and basic control systems.
• Experience in maintaining automated production lines.
• Strong analytical skills for systematic fault diagnosis.
• Ability to choose cost-effective and efficient solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing a professional team of approximately 20 mechanics.
• Strong decision-making abilities.

• High-level technical English (reading, writing, speaking).
