Network Engineer

The company specializes in Algo-Trading, electronic trading based on algorithms developed by the company’s software engineers.

The company has around 250 employees and is located in Herzliya (near the train station), with the option to work from home daily.

Responsibilities

• The role includes joining a team of about 6 employees responsible for the infrastructure of the company’s global production environment.
• Maintaining the network's integrity includes implementing new systems, troubleshooting network issues
• Defining, installing and maintaining new network solutions
• Monitoring the network performance over time
• Full Responsibility on Network Observability
• Managing multi-vendor environment (Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Nvidia, Fortinet)
• NETOPS attitude (network as a code, network automation, auto provision)
• Supporting various development Departments for all IT aspects
• Full responsibility on all the firewalls in the organization(Configuration , deployment , Tshoot )

Requirements:

• 3 years hands-on experience with networking and routing protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast, OSPF, BGP, etc
• Expert knowledge in the operation of Ethernet LAN switching protocols and standards
• Proven experience of using scripting (Python/Bash) to automate network tasks
• Experience in planning and designing projects and analyzing existing network systems and procedures for efficiency and effectiveness
• Analyze complex network issues using variety of tools
