VLSI Design Architect

An international high-tech company developing advanced technologies in the fields of semiconductors, chips, memory, cellular, video, and more.

The role is within the Memory team in the Flash Memory division at the R&D center, responsible for the development and production of SSDs, eMMC/UFS, and cutting-edge memory products.

The role also involves research and development of signal processing algorithms and system architecture for the company's next-generation platforms.

Located in Tel Aviv, near the train station and light rail, with a hybrid work model (1-2 days from home). The company has about 500 employees in Israel.

Responsibilities include:

• Defining the architecture of Flash solution IPs in collaboration with algorithm engineers.
• Conducting architecture research, including modeling and simulation of hardware and algorithm performance.
• Hands-on design of IPs from architecture definition through RTL implementation.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from leading university. (M.Sc. is an advantage)
• 10 years of hands-on experience in complex VLSI design
• Skilled communicator with a strong ability to organize and present complex hardware

Advantages:

• Familiarity with scripting languages
• Experience with architecture and microarchitecture of complex algorithm hardware
