DataOps Engineer

A successful startup developing an IoT chip-based sensor that can monitor itself and its environment using a combination of semiconductor technology and radio frequency energy. The company has large, well-known international clients.

The offices are in Tel Aviv and Caesarea, you can choose the location (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).

The company has around 250 employees, with approximately 150 in Israel.

Role responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Data Pipelines using Databricks / Apache Spark.
• Manage cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management with Terraform / Terragrunt.
• Manage SQL / NoSQL databases.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and other teams.

Requirements-

• 3 years of experience working with Terraform for automating infrastructure deployments
• Experience with Cloud Platforms: AWS / GCP
• Strong knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Familiarity with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Flink, and Databricks
• Experience working with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra) databases
• Experience writing scripts in Python / Bash
• Experience with Version Control - GitHub, CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana
• Knowledge in implementing security measures and compliance standards
