Senior System Engineer

Location: Tel Aviv

Work Arrangement: 4 days from the office, 1 day from home

About The Position

A leading company in the autonomous shipping industry is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior System Engineer to contribute to shaping the future of maritime technology.

As a System Engineer, you will be a key technical leader in a multidisciplinary R&D environment. You will be responsible for system design and considerations for both new and existing products.

What will you do?

• Define Hardware, Firmware, and Software requirements, collaborating with design teams for implementation and testing teams for verification.
• Analyze and propose architecture alternatives.
• Understand and assess customer needs and market trends.
• Support field trials, customer surveys, technical support, and production processes.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience as a System Engineer working on multidisciplinary products, from concept to completion.
• Strong background in cameras, particularly thermal cameras.
• Experience working with sensors.
• Hands-on experience with hardware/software integrations.
• Knowledge of hardware and mechanical design and integration.
• Experience working with external equipment providers and contractors.
• Proficiency in writing system requirements and specifications.
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Optics Electronics (Multidisciplinary Engineering).
