Technical Lead

One of our clients, a cutting-edge digital health company, is looking to hire a Tech Lead (Senior Backend Developer) to join their innovative team. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using TypeScript in a microservices architecture hosted on AWS.
• Work extensively with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EventBridge, ECS, StepFunctions, AppSync, and S3.
• Leverage CDK (Infrastructure as Code) for defining and deploying infrastructure.
• Optimize deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering workflows and Python-based solutions where applicable.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a backend developer, with a strong focus on designing and building scalable systems.
• Expertise in TypeScript, including experience with frameworks such as NestJS (or similar).
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, including service discovery, API management, and inter-service communication.
• Strong experience with Node.js and building distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker & Kubernetes (EKS) for containerized deployments and orchestration.
• Proficiency with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with databases, including RDS (PostgreSQL/MySQL), NoSQL (DynamoDB), and caching solutions (Redis, Memcached).
• Knowledge of API design best practices (REST, GraphQL, gRPC).
• Experience with monitoring & logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK Stack.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools).
• Bonus: Experience with Python for data engineering.
