Storage Backup Specialist

We are looking for a professional, highly skilled Backup Infrastructure Specialist to join our team and become an authority in the field of backup systems. This role involves hands-on management and operation of critical systems, including life-supporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working within the system team, which is responsible for defining policies, evaluating technologies, and managing the operation and maintenance of systems across all the company's sites.
• Managing backup systems in complex, high-availability environments.
• Collaborating with technicians, project managers, developers, and IT managers.
• Supporting and maintaining backup systems in an Enterprise environment with over 4,000 users.
• Handling system operations, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and regular system updates.
• Occasional travel across the country to various locations as needed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure with strong expertise in backup systems.
• Proven experience with one or more backup solutions: TSM, NetBackup, Veeam.
• Solid experience managing backup systems in VMware-based virtual environments.
• Proven experience in managing backup systems for Exchange and SQL servers.
• The role requires a 24/7 commitment, with on-call availability and hands-on work when needed.
