AI Operations Engineer (Student)

At J&J, Our AI team focuses on developing state-of-the-art algorithms to enhance CARTO electrophysiology (EP) ablation procedures. We work on advancing machine learning and AI technologies to improve clinical outcomes. Our day-to-day tasks involve research, data-driven development, and collaboration to create innovative AI solutions for healthcare. As part of this effort, we require a strong data infrastructure to support our machine learning models and analytics.

Responsibilities:

Main responsibility:

·      Assist the AI team with preparing data for machine learning workflows, including data preprocessing, transformation, and cleaning.

·      Collaborate with AI engineers to streamline the process of data integration, ensuring datasets are structured and ready for use in algorithm development.

·      Write and maintain Python scripts for data preparation and automation tasks.

·      Support ongoing machine learning experiments by managing input data and outputs.

·      Contribute to maintaining structured databases (MongoDB, Azure SQL) to support AI-driven projects.

·      Monitor and enhance performance for data processing and algorithm training tasks in collaboration with the AI team.

Additional responsibility:

·      Participate in exploratory data analysis and visualization to help identify trends and support model development.

Experience:

·      M.Sc. student: Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

·      Proficiency with Python for data processing and automation.

·      Experience in SQL for querying and managing databases.

·      Hands-on experience with MongoDB (designing, indexing, and querying).

·      Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data solutions.

·      Familiarity with Data Analysis and ML pipelines.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·      Ability to work independently and within a team.
