Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an IT Security Engineer located in Ramat Gan, Israel. As an IT Security Engineer, you will be responsible for network security, system administration, and IT infrastructure management, including configuring firewalls, routers, and switches. You will work on ensuring the security and stability of our network environments, leveraging automation and AI tools to optimize IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain network security infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches).
• Manage L2, L3, and L4 network protocols with a deep understanding of the OSI Model.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to enhance system efficiency.
• Utilize AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for troubleshooting, security analysis, and automation.
• Perform system administration with expertise in Linux and some Windows environments.
• Identify and resolve network security vulnerabilities and implement best security practices.
• Troubleshoot network and system issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats and solutions.
• Document configurations, processes, and security policies for operational efficiency.
• Handling fieldwork with customers, providing customer support, engaging in pre-sale activities

Qualifications

✔ Deep understanding of network protocols (L2, L3, L4) and the OSI Model.

✔ Experience in configuring and managing firewalls, routers, and switches.

✔ Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.

✔ Hands-on experience with Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS) and familiarity with Windows.

✔ Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.

✔ Ability to learn new concepts quickly and adapt to evolving security challenges.

✔ Experience with AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance security and IT efficiency.

✔ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

✔ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

✔ Security Clearance (סיווג בטחוני) – an advantage.

✔ Car – an advantage.
