Software Engineer (Embedded & High-Level)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in C++ for embedded and low-level programming, along with Python and high-level programming, to support the full lifecycle of our hardware-centric security products. This role is critical in bridging the gap between hardware engineers and full-stack developers, ensuring seamless integration across embedded systems & high-level applications.

As part of our team, you will work on both embedded and higher-level software, helping to design, implement, and optimize hardware-driven security solutions. You will leverage your expertise in low-level programming for real-time hardware interaction, while also using Python and other high-level technologies to develop a cohesive product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize embedded software in C++ for hardware-based security products.
• Utilize Python and high-level programming to bridge embedded systems with backend services and full-stack applications.
• Design and implement low-level software for hardware communication, real-time processing, and system performance optimization.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to refine system architecture and firmware development.
• Work with full-stack engineers to ensure smooth data flow and interoperability between embedded components, backend services, and front-end applications.
• Contribute to the full product lifecycle, from design and prototyping to testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in C++ for embedded and low-level programming.
• Strong experience with Python for scripting, automation, and integration.
• Experience in networking, security, or video processing, ideally with hardware integration.
• Understanding of protocols, system architecture, and firmware development.
• Comfortable working in Linux-based environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with secure coding practices and hardware security implementations.
• Knowledge of networking stacks, video encoding/decoding, or cryptographic protocols.
• Exposure to cloud integration or backend technologies is a plus.
