Cyber Security Researcher – Splunk Expert 📍 Be'er Sheva | Government Sector

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Researcher with expertise in Splunk to join a leading government organization in Be'er Sheva. If you're passionate about cyber threat hunting, security analysis, and working in a cutting-edge environment, this is the opportunity for you!

🔹 Research, analyze, and respond to cyber threats using Splunk and other SIEM tools.

🔹 Develop and optimize detection rules, dashboards, and reports for real-time security monitoring.

🔹 Conduct forensic investigations and incident response activities.

🔹 Collaborate with security teams to enhance overall cyber defense strategies.

🔹 Work with large-scale data analysis to identify suspicious activities and anomalies.

✅ At least 3 years of experience as a Cyber Security Researcher / Analyst.

✅ Mandatory: A technological academic degree (Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems, or related field).

✅ Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Splunk – query writing, dashboard creation, and security event analysis.

✅ Strong understanding of SIEM, SOC operations, and threat intelligence.

✅ Experience in scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.) – an advantage.

✅ Security certifications (e.g., Splunk Certified, CISSP, CEH) – an advantage.

✅ Ability to work in a high-security, fast-paced environment.
