Team8- Legal Counsel (Temporary Position)

We are looking for a talented legal counsel to work closely with our portfolio companies, funds and management companies, providing ongoing legal advice and support. This is a temporary position, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on investment transactions, including deal structuring, term sheets, and definitive agreements.
• Coordinate and manage the work of the fund’s external legal counsels.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all legal issues to support Team8’s portfolio companies, including drafting and negotiating commercial and supplier agreements, advising on employment and equity matters, as well as corporate governance.
• Collaborating closely with founders and founding teams to address strategic legal needs.
• Lead fund formation processes, including orchestration of fundraising activities
• Manage day-to-day ongoing fund-related legal work.
• Create and manage compliance procedures and lead in-house legal projects.
• Collaborate with various departments across the organization to provide practical and strategic legal advice.
  
  

• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant post-internship experience as a Legal Counsel, preferably in a fast pace growing start-up, venture capital firm or a hi-tech department in a leading law firm.
• Strong background in tech-related commercial agreements and software licensing.
  
  

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Strong analytical, business, and risk assessment abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Experience working on fund formation and corporate structuring- an advantage.
• Background in finance or accounting- an advantage.
  
  

• LLB degree with Israel Bar credentials.
• Fluent English proficiency (mandatory).
