Senior Software Engineer

Libra Security is looking for a highly experienced Backend Engineer that lives and breathes technology and data to join our founding team in Tel Aviv.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing a ground breaking product from the ground up. You will be involved in every aspect of the system, from integrating with customer environments to designing an ever evolving data architecture and implementing data flows and backend services.

The role requires creativity, research and problem-solving skills as well as deep technical knowledge and the ability to deep-dive into complex and difficult problems.

Who you are

• You have 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer developing complex software projects, preferably with one of the following Go, Rust, Python, Java or Scala
• Worked on cloud native platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), including Kubernetes
• Thrive in startups, you bringing ideas into production while clearing uncertainties in an ever evolving ecosystem environment
• You love doing things right, creating quality grade A+ code
• A team player who is passionate about data and software with a great sense of ownership

Advantages

• Experienced with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark and Polars
• Modeled APIs and worked with data serialization tools such as Avro and Protobuf
• Have data software engineering background, experienced with both designing software and data architectures

What you will do

• Design and develop our data architecture and infrastructure, including data modeling, collection, processing and storage for different needs and use cases
• Design and implement backend systems that connect and integrate with customer environments according to their specifications and limitations
• Design and develop backend systems and APIs while understanding our evolving frontend needs
• Lead by example in code quality and engineering practices
• Collaborate across teams to align technical and business goals
• Mentor team members and help establish engineering best practices
• Foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence
