Vice President of Engineering

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Engineering

This position will lead the company’s research and development efforts, with a strong focus on AI and data-driven technologies to drive innovation and create impactful solutions. The role requires a solid technical background, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to bridge strategic vision with hands-on execution in a dynamic and complex environment.

This executive role combines strategic thinking, technological expertise, and leadership skills to oversee the design, architecture, and development of advanced AI and data-centric solutions. The VP R&D will ensure the successful delivery of high-impact projects, from concept validation through implementation and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the R&D department, including multidisciplinary teams.
• Define and implement the R&D strategy, emphasizing AI and data technologies, in alignment with business objectives.
• Drive the development of innovative, data-driven solutions to optimize processes and address market needs.
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality projects within set timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global clients to customize AI and data-focused solutions and ensure optimal performance.
• Establish and maintain best practices, methodologies, and processes within the R&D department.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Technical Expertise:

• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in AI and data technologies, including machine learning, predictive analytics, and data processing.
• Proven ability to develop and integrate complex AI and data-driven systems.
• B.Sc. in a relevant field (e.g., Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related). Advanced degrees are an advantage.
• At least 10 years of experience in R&D leadership roles, with a strong focus on AI and data-driven innovation.

Experience:

• Proven success in R&D management within product-driven organizations.
• Experience working in a global environment and collaborating with international clients.
• Familiarity with industrial or production-oriented sectors is an advantage.

Leadership Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to build, inspire, and manage high-performing teams.
• Strong organizational and strategic thinking abilities.

Additional Attributes:

• Experience in multinational and large-scale organizations is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented personality.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
