By integrating AI-driven academic tools, centralized communication, and a smart KPI dashboard, UNIseer streamlines student success tracking, course performance analytics, financial management, and campus-wide operations. Our goal is to become the standard for AI-powered university management, ensuring a seamless experience for students, faculty, and administration.

We are currently piloting UNIseer at Reichman University with plans for rapid expansion into Israeli, European, and U.S. markets. As we scale, we are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our AI development, technical strategy, and product innovation.

Role Overview

As the CTO of UNIseer, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our technical vision, leading AI-driven platform development, and ensuring seamless integration with existing university systems. You will work closely with the executive team to scale the product, oversee development teams, and drive innovation in education technology.

This role is ideal for an experienced tech leader passionate about AI, EdTech, and building scalable SaaS solutions that impact millions of students and educators worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute UNIseer’s AI & software architecture strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.

• Lead the end-to-end development of UNIseer’s platform, including AI-powered chatbots, automation tools, and real-time analytics.

• Drive technical innovation, ensuring UNIseer remains ahead of EdTech trends and industry needs.

• Oversee software development, AI/ML models, data infrastructure, and API integrations with university systems (Ellucian, Payoneer, etc.).

• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to align technical development with business strategy.

Product Development & AI Integration

• Develop and optimize AI-driven academic tools, including:

• AI chatbot for academic/admin queries.

• Lecture-to-Notes automation for structured study materials.

• KPI dashboards for real-time student performance tracking.

• Ensure seamless integration with university platforms, enhancing student engagement, faculty insights, and administrative efficiency.

• Lead data security & compliance efforts, ensuring UNIseer meets global education data protection standards.

Team Leadership & Growth

• Build and manage a high-performing engineering team, including AI/ML specialists, software developers, and data scientists.

• Establish and enforce best practices for development, DevOps, and AI deployment.

• Oversee hiring, mentoring, and scaling the tech team as UNIseer expands internationally.

Scaling & Infrastructure

• Design a scalable, cloud-based architecture that can support thousands of universities globally.

• Optimize performance, reliability, and uptime to ensure a seamless user experience.

• Manage partnerships with third-party AI vendors, cloud providers, and university IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in AI/ML, software architecture, and SaaS product development.

• Proven expertise in AI models, NLP, machine learning, and chatbot development.

• Strong knowledge of cloud computing, data engineering, DevOps, and API integrations.

• Experience leading technical teams in a fast-growing startup or SaaS company.

• Background in EdTech, university systems, or enterprise AI solutions is a major plus.

• Strong knowledge of security, compliance, and data privacy regulations in education.
