The Eastern Galilee and Golan Resilience Center, operated by CSPC, is seeking a:
Community Resilience Coordinator for the Kiryat Shmona & Metula Branch

The Resilience Center branches assist in developing and strengthening community resilience during routine times. In emergencies, they provide professional-organizational responses to individuals, communities, and local authorities, under the leadership of the regional resilience center.

• Establish and maintain ongoing connections with relevant role-holders in each municipality.

• Manage budgets, record and report branch activities, and coordinate funding with municipal budgets.

• Assist in engaging relevant partners in the field of psycho-social emergency responses to ensure coordinated efforts.

• Lead and oversee the implementation of various community resilience programs.

• Plan and conduct training sessions for relevant municipal role-holders.

• Establish a cross-municipality forum and participate in internal and external forums and teams.

• Assess community resilience levels and develop appropriate responses.

• Gather and relay insights from municipal professionals (usually the head of emergency services) to the regional community resilience coordinator and the CSPC Resilience Center director.

• Participate in municipal and CSPC emergency situation assessments as needed.

• Consolidate needs and responses from municipalities and initiate local, regional, and inter-municipal resilience efforts.

• Act as a liaison between partners and other organizations (e.g., Home Front Command).

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work / Social Sciences.

• Experience in inter-municipal / cross-sector partnership development.

• At least two years of experience in emergency response and community resilience.

• Experience in leading and coordinating programs.

• Strong interpersonal skills, proactive mindset, responsibility, and creativity.

• Immediate availability, mobility, flexibility to work irregular hours, and full functionality during emergencies.

This is a full-time position based at CSPC’s offices in Kiryat Shmona.
