System Engineer

Our company is seeking a Systems Engineer in the Value Engineering department. In this role, you will participate in the development and optimization of robotic systems for pool cleaning, with a focus on delivering high value to customers and improving system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Defining requirements for system components, writing specification documents, and design plans.
• Identifying and certifying alternative parts in products to reduce costs.
• Optimizing the robotic pool cleaning system, looking for ways to improve system performance, quality, and costs.
• Managing subcontractors both locally and internationally and overseeing improvement projects in mechanics and energy fields.
• Managing testing processes and generating approval reports for the systems.
• Working closely with hardware, software, and business development teams to ensure that the solutions developed add value to the system.
• Leading various departments within the organization to promote solutions and implement them into daily production.
• Troubleshooting and solving technological issues while collaborating with development and maintenance teams.
• Meeting project time and cost goals while maintaining high levels of performance and quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a relevant technological field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a systems engineer in robotics/machinery, with experience in integration of systems involving mechanics/hardware/software.
• Experience in defining and characterizing requirements for multi-disciplinary systems.
• Experience in optimizing systems and the ability to identify and implement technological solutions that deliver improvement to the products
• Ability to work with product and sales teams within the company and analyze technological requirements and turn them into practical solutions.
• Broad systems thinking and the ability to adapt efficient solutions for both the product and the company's production systems.
• Managing technological projects under time and resource constraints.
• High level communication skills in English (oral & written) required
