Cyber Security Architect (MF)

We are seeking a talented Cloud Architect – MF to join a Mainframe Infrastructure Security and Tools Development Team within the Cybersecurity and Information Security Division at one of the largest leading financial institutions in israel. This team is responsible for establishing and maintaining robust security methodologies for MF infrastructures, managing security products, handling permissions for operating systems and products, and developing tools to ensure quality and standardization in the permission-granting process.

As a Cloud Architect – MF, you will lead the design and implementation of secure architecture, analyze risks, define controls, and work within a regulated environment adhering to cybersecurity standards. You will collaborate with various technological and business stakeholders to drive security initiatives and ensure high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and document information security requirements.
• Design and implement secure architecture for Mainframe infrastructures.
• Analyze risks and define controls to mitigate them effectively.
• Develop and update security policies and procedures.
• Evaluate and implement new products and technologies.
• Work in a regulatory-driven environment, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Provide guidance on information security aspects for various projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience:
• At least 5 years of experience with MF infrastructures – mandatory.
• At least 2 years of experience in MF information security – advantage.
• Experience implementing technology products (preferably MF infrastructure products) – significant advantage.

• Technical Skills:
• Development experience in COBOL and REXX languages.
• Strong understanding of technological processes and the ability to optimize them.
• High technological orientation and the ability to work on complex solutions.
