Head of Research And Development

We are looking for a brilliant, talented head of R&D to join us and utilize strong leadership and management skills to lead our R&D group.

The head of R&D act as the highest-ranking technology leader in the company, responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the business and ensuring that the company is using the most effective and efficient technologies to meet its goals.

The head of R&D will be a key member of the executive team, collaborating with other leaders to develop and execute the company's strategic vision.

Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating with the executive team, you will define the R&D strategy and methodologies, optimize the work processes and efficiency, using agile methodologies.

Lead the development and implementation of the company's technology strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives

Build and manage the technical team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently

Oversee all technical operations aspects for a SaaS style always-on platform.

Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to incorporate new technologies into the company's products and operations

Collaborate with other members of the executive team to develop and execute the company's business plan and strategy

3+ years of experience as Director of R&D / Group Manager / VP R&D in a growing start-up company

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

A minimum of 10 years of experience in technology

Experience delivering complex, large-scale B2B products

Strong leadership skills including day to day management, recruiting, building, coaching, providing guidance, and inspiring others

Proven technical skills and self-learning ability, capable of thoroughly understanding the functional and technical aspects of a complex system

Significant experience in the system’s current technologies - React - Frontend and NodeJS- Backend .
