We are seeking a Head of Agronomy to play a crucial role in shaping the future of AI-driven agriculture. This role requires deep agronomic expertise to support our AI models, refine disease detection processes, and collaborate with data scientists and product teams to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of our technology.

• Lead agronomic decision-making by defining and adding new diseases to the product and updating existing pest & disease classifications.
• Provide agronomic expertise to AI teams by defining key indicators of plant health, disease progression, and environmental stress factors to improve model accuracy
• Create educational materials and training programs for internal teams and support the onboarding of Fermata products.
• Work closely with the product team to ensure AI-generated recommendations and insights are practical, actionable, and aligned with modern agronomic science.

• Deep expertise in crop diseases, pest control, and plant health.
• BSc in Agronomy, Biology, or a related field (MSc is an advantage).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Specialized experience in tomato cultivation and other greenhouse crops.
• Hands-on experience in greenhouse operations.
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Proficiency in digital tools and AgriTech solutions.
