Security Operations Center Analyst

We at Bynet are looking for an experienced TIER 2 Analyst for a role that combines 50% cybersecurity analysis and 50% security solution implementation and operations. The position requires the ability to handle complex cyber incidents, conduct in-depth investigations, and operate advanced security products.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Managing and operating cybersecurity products such as EDR, antivirus, firewalls (FW), NAC solutions, and more.
• Escalating and resolving incidents for Tier 1 analysts.
• Real-time monitoring of security systems and cyber events, identifying threats, and providing initial responses.
• Conducting deep-dive cyber investigations and forensic analysis.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a SOC Analyst – mandatory.
• At least 1 year of experience in incident investigation and response – mandatory.
• Completion of a cybersecurity course of at least 300 hours – mandatory.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CEH, CCNA, CCSA, Security+) – an advantage.
• Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems – an advantage.
• Experience in writing reports, scripts, and security controls – mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, responsibility, high learning ability, and teamwork skills – mandatory.
• At least 1 year of experience operating security systems (EDR/AV/FW/NAC/Mail Relay) – mandatory.
• Knowledge of network topology and advanced understanding of communication protocols – mandatory.
• Strong familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems – mandatory.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours – mandatory.
• The position requires a security clearance (conducted by the employer).
