Role: Game Economist – Entry Level

Responsibilities:

●    Create economic plans in Excel for sales, features, events, and promotions.

●    Handle the operational implementation of economic plans into the Backoffice environments, ensuring accurate configuration and execution of the final work.

●    Monitor and refine economic structures, ensuring that both free and paid economies are well-balanced to maximize engagement, retention, and revenue.

●    Analyze key performance indicators related to all in-game economies, including player progression, engagement, and revenue, and proactively adjust as needed.

●    Design and conduct A/B tests, simulations, and predictive models to evaluate the impact of changes to the game economy and make data-driven adjustments.

●    Assist in developing and implementing new monetization strategies for the company's games, in collaboration with the monetization team.

Requirements:

●    English – Fluent

●    1+ years of experience working with in-game economies, ideally focusing on casual games.

●    Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - advantage.

●    Passion for gaming and a good understanding of the gaming industry and its monetization models.

●    Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

●    Familiarity with in-game economies, virtual goods, and pricing strategies - plus.

●    Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

●    Detail-oriented mindset and ability to handle and analyze large sets of data.

●    Proficiency in using analytical tools, such as Excel, to analyze and present data - advantage.

●    Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

●    Adaptability to evolving trends and a willingness to learn and stay updated on new monetization strategies and technologies.

●    Knowledge of mobile, console, or PC gaming platforms and related monetization opportunities.
