Rolling Stock Maintenance Passenger and Freight Expert (f/m/d)

For our Electrification Project in Tel Aviv, we are looking for a Rolling Stock Maintenance Passenger & Freight Expert Expert.

Responsibilities:

• Definition and writing specifications for projects/works mentioned below
• Understanding and usage of relevant railway standards TSI, EN. UIC
• Evaluating technical proposals of rolling stock manufacturers
• Technical support for evaluation of malfunctions and Alstom investigations
• Homologation process of Taking new rolling stock to operation (TSI, ASBO, DeBo, NoBo, ISA)
• Review of technical documents from consultants and suppliers that have been ordered by the client
• Consultancy of the client, and suppliers ordered by the client
• Technical evaluation of tenders, variations, changes and non-compliances
• Support the client in technical negotiations
  
  

• University degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Railway Engineering or similar qualification
• At least 6 years of experience in railway projects
• Long standing experience in rolling stock maintenance, incl. overhauls, homologation, upgrade/ retrofit
• Experience in the technical supervision, maintenance, procurement & repair of passenger coaches and freight wagons
• Familiarity with different technical systems within passenger and freight coaches
• Familiarity with standardization and norms, incl. European norms (EN, TSI)
• Willingness to re-locate to Israel for at least 2 years
• Excellent English skills
