Obinex is a bold Pre-Seed startup on a mission to build a Centralized Exchange (CEX) and a next-generation Blockchain, both from scratch. Our vision is to create a secure, high-performance trading platform and a scalable Blockchain ecosystem, leveraging cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and cryptographic technologies.

What will you do?

• Architect and develop the core infrastructure of our Centralized Exchange (CEX), including the matching engine, order execution, and real-time APIs.
• Design and optimize a scalable blockchain architecture, focusing on consensus mechanisms, cryptographic security, and decentralized networking.
• Leverage cloud computing solutions (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
• Optimize the exchange and blockchain infrastructure to handle thousands of transactions per second with low-latency execution.
• Develop and implement security protocols, including MPC, HSM, and Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs).
• Create robust APIs (REST, WebSocket) for real-time trading and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate closely with the founders and technical team to define the long-term technology roadmap.
• Write high-performance, scalable, and secure code in Rust, Go, C++, Java, or Python.

What will you bring?

• PhD in Computer Science, with a specialization in Cloud Computing, Blockchain, or Distributed Systems.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, ideally in fintech, blockchain, or high-performance trading systems.
• Deep expertise in blockchain architecture, including consensus algorithms (PoW, PoS, BFT), cryptography, and smart contracts.
• Strong background in cloud computing architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed computing frameworks (Kubernetes, Kafka, etc.).
• Experience in high-frequency trading (HFT) systems, low-latency networking, and distributed database optimization.
• Security-first mindset, with knowledge of HSM, MPC, multi-signature wallets, and advanced cryptographic protocols.
• Proficiency in Rust, Go, C++, Java, or Python – experience with blockchain frameworks (Substrate, Cosmos SDK, Solana, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalability and performance optimization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, with a high level of ownership and responsibility.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Layer 2 scaling solutions, DeFi protocols, or cross-chain interoperability.
• Familiarity with Solana, Cosmos SDK, Polkadot, Ethereum, Avalanche, or Hyperledger.
• Understanding of Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), secure multi-party computation (MPC), and advanced cryptography.
• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
