New Product Introduction Engineer

The NPI Engineer will be responsible for managing the new product introduction (NPI) process within the company, from the initial product design phase through to the product launch in the market. The role requires project management skills, deep technological understanding, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and a drive for success in automation and innovation within the medical field.

Responsibilities:

• Management of NPI projects from development to launch, including coordination between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and marketing teams.
• Development and implementation of manufacturing and maintenance processes for medical products, especially in the field of medical robotics, with an emphasis on high-quality control.
• Close collaboration with product development teams to ensure the product meets customer requirements and medical standards
• Preparation for the manufacturing phase, including building manufacturing processes, optimization, and continuous improvement of operational lines.
• Preparation and management of documentation plans and technical requirements, including writing protocols and test reports.
• Providing technical support to all departments, including managing and leading training sessions and solving technical problems in the field.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in NPI/new product introduction in the medical/technology industry (experience in medical robotics is a plus).
• Experience in managing NPI projects – leading technological projects from development through to market launch.
• Knowledge in cross-functional teamwork: development, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory.
• Experience working with international standards and regulatory requirements (FDA, CE, ISO 13485, etc.).
• Strong management, organizational, and communication skills – ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, while meeting deadlines and budgets.
• High proficiency in English (ability to communicate both in writing and orally)..

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience working medical devices in the healthcare field.
• Experience in managing relationships with international suppliers and customers.
