Retention Team Leader- Temporary

Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Retention Team Lead to join our team at Fiverr, a leading freelance services marketplace.

As a Retention Team Lead, you will be responsible for driving customer loyalty and retention strategies, ensuring users stay engaged with our platform, and maximizing lifetime value. Your role will involve developing data-driven strategies, leading a taskforce and collaborating with cross-functional departments to turn Fiverr an extension to their business.

The position is a temporary replacement for maternity leave.

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

• Own company-wide retention KPIs, track progress weekly, and guide teams on improving key metrics.
• Develop and implement data-driven retention strategies to boost buyer lifecycle, revenue, and engagement.
• Initiate and drive high-impact projects, secure resources, and collaborate to meet retention goals.
• Leverage cohort behavior and buyer insights to identify opportunities and execute impactful projects.
• Work with Marketing, Product, and Analytics teams to align strategies and enhance user experiences.
  
  

Requirements

• 6+ years of business management with a proven track record of initiating and executing impactful product or business initiatives, and/or managing P&L and business units.
• Proven experience driving retention uplift; experience in e-commerce, online services, or working with SMBs as a primary customer segment is a plus.
• Strong data analysis skills with a sharp focus on driving incremental value.
• A creative thinker who blends behavioral data with qualitative insights to understand user needs and develop effective strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively convey insights and ideas to actions.
• BS or MS in Business or related quantitative fields is an advantage.
