Economist Needed – Manufacturing Sector

Location: Tiberias Area

A leading industrial plant is seeking an Economist with up to two years of experience in the economic field of the manufacturing sector, with the ability to understand commercial and manufacturing processes end-to-end and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Product pricing
• Monthly closings – managing proper recording of company expenses and making provisions as needed
• Monitoring purchase orders (prices, import costs, etc.)
• Preparing the annual budget and managing monthly control against actual results
• Conducting economic analyses, flagging issues, and highlighting areas for correction or improvement
• Preparing and understanding the P&L report in detail and presenting it to relevant stakeholders
• Creating KPIs for relevant units

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering – mandatory
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role – required
• Excellent proficiency in Excel
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture
• Understanding of business and operational processes, with a focus on industry and manufacturing
• Desire to learn and grow in a large, growing company
• Familiarity with SAP – an advantage
• Full proficiency in Office applications
