Product Manager (Accounting)

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Product Analyst with in-depth expertise in banking products such as Deposits, Loans, and Current Accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Accounting Design and Analysis:
  
  

Design accounting processes for banking products (Deposits, Loans, Current Accounts) in the core banking system.

Ensure accurate mapping of financial transactions to accounting entries.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between accounting rules and product configurations.

• Financial Reporting:
  
  

Design interfaces to bank system , which generates financial reports, including profit/loss statements, balance sheets, and other key metrics.

Support the generation of financial data required for internal and external audits.

• Regulatory Compliance:
  
  

Ensure the banking core system adheres to regulatory standards for financial reporting, including central bank requirements.

Design and oversee processes to produce accurate and timely regulatory reports.

• System Integration and Testing:
  
  

Work with IT teams to integrate accounting processes with the banking core system and related financial systems.

Perform functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate accounting workflows and reporting outputs.

• Continuous Improvement:
  
  

Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and reporting accuracy.

Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting design for banking products in a core banking system.
• Proven experience with financial reporting and regulatory reporting (Bonk of Israel reporting is a strong advantage).
• Strong knowledge of core banking systems and financial modules.
• Familiarity with accounting standards in Israel
• Experience with Data Analysis and validation tools
• Ability to analyze complex financial transactions and map them to accounting rules.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Understanding of banking regulations and central bank requirements.
• Familiarity with risk and compliance frameworks in the financial industry.
• Strong communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
