Data Scientist

Overview of Position:

We delivers highly customizable, critical communication solutions for remote sites. As a Senior Data Scientist you will be working closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and goals, translating complex data into actionable insights.

A successful candidate will be capable of working independently, actively and confidently promoting improvements, incorporating new technologies, throughout the lifecycle of each product.

What you will do:

• Developing and implementing advanced analytics models Define data modeling standards and best practices, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Leading data-driven decision-making processes.
• Lead data integration efforts, orchestrating the movement of data from various sources to support analytics and reporting.
• Managing data science projects from conception to deployment.
• Develop and implement advanced statistical and machine learning models to solve complex problems.
• Identify improvement areas and recommend design changes for maintaining operational excellence.
• Lead integration projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions on time.

What we need from you:

• Proven track record of designing and implementing data models/algorithms, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a data scientist.
• Experience with big data technologies and data analysis software like MATLAB and Python.
• Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience in SQL and caching databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, Influxdb, Redis, S3, RDS, DynamoDB).
• Demonstrable history of devising and overseeing data-centered projects.
• Experience in machine learning principles and techniques.
• Exposure to natural language processing, image processing techniques, and big data stacks (Amazon EMR, Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, Amazon Kinesis).
• Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Experience with source version control (e.g., git, bitbucket).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Even better if you have:

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Solutions Architect) are a plus.
• Experience with Scrum and other Agile processes.
• Knowledge/Experience in CI/CD Pipelines.
