UAV Technician & Pilot

FlyWorks is a young startup developing the next generation of hybrid-drones to help with some of the world’s biggest challenges.

Based on our patented technology, we’re creating a truly one-of-its-kind flying machine and seeking an exceptional team member to lead the technical operations of our UAV in the lab & out on the field.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performing hands-on assembly of mechanical sub-systems.
• Conducting flight testing, maintenance, and repairs in the lab and out on the field.
• Conducting methodical experiments.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

Essential:

• Prior experience performing technical work in an aeronautical multi-disciplinary project.
• CAAI certified VLOS 25kg drone pilot.
• Experience with operation of drone systems.
• Excellent hands-on technical abilities.
• High skills in Hebrew and English, speaking and writing.

Advantage:

• CAAI certified VLOS <2-ton drone pilot – substantial advantage.
• Experience with drones based on Arducopter firmware on a Cube flight controller.
• Electronic PCB & harnesses assembly and repair skills.
• Experience working with internal combustion engines.
• Experience with mechanical drivetrain assembly.
• Experience with fabrication of composite components.
• Prior startup environment experience.
