Data Scientist

The Data Science role in Armis is critical to the product offering, responsible for all Machine Learning algorithms embedded in the product. From determining accurate profiles for assets based on network data (is this a computer? IP Camera? X-Ray Machine?) to detecting abnormal behavior of assets, we build innovative models to answer our client's most critical needs.

We are looking for an experienced and creative data scientist, with a software development touch, to join our Data Science and Armis family. A data scientist that understands and loves data, and lots of it.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the research and development of new product features that solves challenging cybersecurity problems, utilizing ML techniques with a focus in NLP
• Model Building: Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models, including deep learning, using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, and scikit-learn
• Explore and preprocess large, complex datasets, identifying key features and patterns that drive model performance in a cybersecurity context
• Work closely with data analysts, engineers, and product managers to understand requirements, validate model assumptions, and deliver actionable insights.
• Continuously improve model accuracy, scalability, and speed
• Stay current with the latest advancements in data science and apply best practices to ensure optimal performance
• Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
  

What Are We Looking For

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in data science, researching and solving complex problems using machine learning and deep learning techniques with a focus on NLP
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, or equivalent tools for model development and training
• Strong experience in data exploration, visualization, and interpretation
• Proven ability to apply statistical modeling and machine learning methods to real-world problems, ideally in the context of cybersecurity or related fields
• A true team player with a positive attitude, curiosity, and an eagerness to tackle complex problems
