Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Petach Tikva is currently seeking applicants for a Manager, General & Spare Parts Purchasing, Regional Israel. Responsible for organizing and supervising purchasing activities in his group, issue reports to management and improvement of the team performance and support to stake holders.

Job Location :

The company's headquarters is located in Petach Tikva in the Central District. It employs ~60 personnel who provide service and support to the company's 3 factories located in Dimona, Beer Sheva & Migdal Ha’emek.

In our Petach Tikva offices you may find functions such as: Accounting, Procurement, Human Resources, Logistics, Infrastructure, Business Development, sales and IT.

What you will be doing :

• To develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
• To track and report to management, key functional metrics related to expenses, supplier, quality and overall supply stability.
• To ensure optimal commercial terms achieved and performed for all significant deals made by the team.
• To assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
• Manages relationships with local & abroad key suppliers to achieve high quality performance, On-Time-Delivery and Cost optimization. To work with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent service, support, and cross functional communications flow.
• To perform cost scenario analysis and benchmarking.
• Strong skills and methodology to help employees solving problems to resolve issues that may disturb ongoing operations.

What you will bring along :

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Supply chain management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience working as a Purchasing Manager in global companies with proven expertise in large organizations within the defined areas of responsibility
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices, including strategic sourcing and supplier management.
• Analytical and KPI-Driven: Demonstrated ability to implement and track KPIs for continuous improvement in procurement processes.
• Fluent in English
• Strong Excel skills.
