IT Manager

Job Description:

The IT Manager will oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, in-house software development, and DevOps operations. This role requires a multi-disciplinary leader who can manage a team of professionals, streamline workflows, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and reliable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

 Build and mentor a small but dynamic team.

 Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

 Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services.

 Work with the company management to assess and meet future needs.

Cyber security:

 Focus on building and maintaining a Cyber resilient network and secured data flow.

 Work with the company CISO to maintain Cyber resiliency

IT Operations:

 Manage mostly on-prem IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, security and different services and tools.

 Ensure compliance with industry standards, data protection, and cybersecurity best practices.

 Manage hosted Data Center.

 Provide technical support to all employees.

 Evaluate and implement tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Development:

 Lead the development team in designing, building, and maintaining software solutions.

 Oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including designing, planning, coding, testing, and deployment.

 Implement best practices for code quality, version control, and testing.

DevOps:

 Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software deployment.

 Develop and enforce automation strategies to improve development and deployment processes.

 Manage code repositories in multiple network environment.

 Monitor Linux system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of services.

 Oversee a small cloud infrastructure and ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance.

Job Requirements:

 Excellent personality and communication skills.

 5+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on Cyber security and knowledge in development and DevOps processes.

 Strong leadership and project management skills.

 Ability to manage multi-disciplinary team with multiple professionals.

 Ability to adopt new concepts outside of the regular IT domain and to learn and develop new skills.

 Strong understanding of IT security, network management, and system administration.

 Understanding in CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jfrog, GitLab CI/CD) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

 Hands-on experience with on-prem platforms (e.g., AD, Exchange, VMWare, FW, Switches, etc.) - advantage.

 Experience working in drug development companies – an advantage.
